History

The company was founded in 1987 in the locations of Neuhaus am Inn (AGROTEL Germany) and Enzenkirchen (AGROTEL Austria) by Cyriak Laner. Initially the main focus was on the trade and distribution of cover tarpaulins, including accessories for the building and agricultural sectors.

In-house production was instituted shortly after the establishment of the company, ensuring a more complete and customer-orientated fabrication. This allowed the customisation of various materials in an array of sizes. Adapting to the requirements of the market, roller and control technology for side ventialtion systems and textile door solutions, as well as comfort for animal husbandry was developed and fashioned for the agricultural sector.

Continuous improvements and new, innovative ideas ultimately resulted in the complete range of textile products in place today. The product portfolio now also includes biogas componentshall systems and other agricultural and industrial products. Furthermore, in addition to the agricultural and trade industries, the company today caters for other customers from the industry and commercial business, as well as for communal and private consumers.

With its many European subsidiaries and companies, AGROTEL has now evolved into a technical, modern company with fully qualified and highly-motivated staff. AGROTEL products are already distributed to more than 35 countries within Europe, Asia and North America.

AGROTEL has enjoyed success within the market for more than 25 years and is committed, now and in the future, to maintain its status as a competent partner providing a first-class service.
